I was hired to create this ad as a part of a promotional marketing strategy to increase the awareness of this new product in 2006.

Maya Animation for Animation Mentor Class 3 - Sword Quest
This was a three part "story". The viking character sees his objective, overcomes 2 obstacles and pulls out the sword. I like it but it needs more polishing. The character, helmet and sword were provided by Animation Mentor. All environment elements were created by me. The monster was created using the creature creator function in Spore and imported into Maya.

The initial exercise was to have the character run over the bridge . . . I added a reason. Again, I like it but realize it needs more polishing. Eventually I'd like to do it over with a character that has arms. The character was provided by Animation Mentor. All environment elements were created by me.
